Many diseases, including cancer, neurological disorders, and cardiovascular disease, are multi-faceted, involving complex cellular aberrations and molecular mechanisms. Multiomic approaches can illuminate these relationships, offering a more holistic view of biology. Through proteomics, transcriptomics, epigenetics, and genomics, scientists are able to examine protein expression profiles, transcriptional regulation and responses, how cells control gene activity, and genetic variants.
